He's so goofy, loving, silly, and energetic!
He is our child... And undoubtedly spoiled. Which leads me to what we did today for his "Gotcha Day".
What do you do to celebrate the day a pup came into your life? Make a dog friendly cake, obviously. As if my friends and family didn't think I was crazy enough, right?
1 cup of flour
1 cup of shredded carrots
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg
This cake is so easy to make.
Mix the baking soda and flour together and then add the rest of the ingredients in. The consistency will not be creamy and smooth like a normal cake.
Pat the dough down into an 8" pan.
Pop it in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes.
And Voilà... You have a doggy friendly cake!
I used peanut butter as frosting but that's your choice. It's just as enjoyable for them without it!
He licked the plate clean!! We only have him a piece... Because he doesn't need an entire cake in one sitting hah!
Ryan and I both tried it and it wasn't bad... Not much flavor but what do we know... Dug says it was tail waggin' good!
