Where oh where have I been...

Well... I have quite honestly done a pretty terrible job at keeping everyone updated on what's going on in the Hammond household. Last time I updated we hadn't even moved into our house yet! It is now December and we are going on 9 months of living in Texas and 7 months living in our house! I will do a separate post of a tour of the house. 

So... What has been going on with us? 

We adopted and rescued the most loving pup from the Texas GSP rescue. His name is Dug, he's a German Shorthaired Pointer and let's be honest... He rescued us. 

He is admittedly extremely spoiled but I have never encountered a more loving dog. He is so sweet it's makes my heart melt into a pile of mush. He keeps me company when hubbs is TDY and he is definitely our child. 

In other news, we are settled in the house and I am working full time with the school district. I'm also going back to school so things are always hectic around here! My family was able to visit over thanksgiving and it was everything I needed. The homesickness never goes away if you were wondering. It just gets easier to deal with as you find your groove in a new place and meet new friends. We have found some great friends here and we are so grateful for that. 

Toddlers obviously aren't into photos. So happy to have this photo. 

We were able to give my family a tour of hubbs plane and liv loved it! 

It was so nice to have them here. It completely recharged my batteries. Now that it's December, we will be visiting both families over Christmas.

I feel so happy when I blog and it's truly a stress reliever for me.
